The short version

This site is built to be light on cookies. We use privacy-first analytics that set no tracking cookies, and only the essential cookies needed to keep the site secure and working. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

1. About this notice

This notice explains the cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) used on tristanlevels.com. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, and follows the UK's Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the UK GDPR.

A cookie is a small file stored on your device by a website. Some cookies are essential for a site to work; others are optional and need your consent.

2. Our approach

We have deliberately built this site to use as few cookies as possible. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.

3. The cookies and storage we use

Strictly necessary (no consent required)

These are needed for the site to work and to stay secure, so PECR does not require consent for them.

  • Security / anti-bot. Our host and security provider, [Cloudflare — confirm], may set an essential cookie or token (for example, through the [Turnstile — confirm] anti-bot check) to protect the site and our forms from abuse.
  • Essential local storage. The site may store a small amount of information on your device to make it work correctly (for example, to remember that scripting is available). This is not used to track you.

Analytics (cookieless)

We use [Plausible / privacy-first analytics — confirm] to understand how the site is used. It is designed to be privacy-first: it does not set cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track you across sites. Because it sets no cookies and processes only aggregate, anonymous statistics, it does not require a consent banner. If we ever switch to analytics that set cookies, we will ask for your consent first.

Third-party content

  • Video. If we embed a video ([provider TBC once the VSL is added — confirm; use a privacy-enhanced embed]), the provider may set its own cookies when you press play. We will update this notice with the details before any video goes live.
  • Booking funnel. When you click "Book a call" you are taken to our booking system at join.tristanlevels.com, run on [GoHighLevel — confirm]. That page sets its own cookies, governed by its own notice.

4. Managing cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and set your browser to block them. Because we rely only on essential cookies plus cookieless analytics, blocking non-essential cookies will not stop the main parts of this site from working, though a third-party video may not play.

5. A note before launch

To be finalised: the exact cookies listed above depend on the final hosting, anti-bot and analytics configuration and on the video provider chosen. A short cookie audit should confirm this table before the site goes live.
